Can you tell us about your Spring 2024 collection and the inspiration behind it?
The title of the Spring/Summer 2024 collection is “Of Dreams” Experiencing the excitement, joy, love, and sense of commitment during my recent wedding to my beautiful wife, Kelsey, was a spectacular feeling that is almost indescribable. The excitement of wedding planning and envisioning a future with the person you love can be overwhelming, yet it all comes together in harmony as the date approaches. The Spring/Summer 2024 collection is an encapsulation of feelings and emotions. The creations are of dreams, and inspired by the love, excitement, and beauty from our wedding day. Experience a blend of modern romance and contemporary beauty captured in every seam, every detail and every unique gown.
Taking a step back to your wedding day. What moments do you savor most?
On the day of the wedding, the joy of seeing your loved ones gathered to celebrate your union is incredible. The love and connection you feel with your partner during the ceremony is a special moment that you will cherish forever and the memories you make are unimaginable.
Do you have a favorite style from the latest collection?
I truly love them all; however, Justin Alexander Signature Style Pledge is one of my favorites. She is a beautiful Mikado bodice with exposed boning and has a gorgeous drape across the bust. It has a little lace detail that shows through at the neckline and a beautiful gathered tulle skirt with embroidered hem lace throughout the entire hem of the dress. It has a matching Cathedral length veil that is absolutely perfect.
Which are the latest and greatest trends that we will be seeing hitting the runways this season/What wedding dress trends do you foresee inspiring the industry in 2024?
Transitional looks, with detachable elements or add on pieces, like the Union Jumpsuit or Afterglow with her detachable sleeves. Traditional styles, like Style Reverie and Style Xanadu are making a return, as brides are recognizing the value of a timeless wedding dress that can stand the test of time. Showstopping details always catch our bride’s attention, like on Style Future. While Style Nirvana and Utopia both combine ease, romance and textural florals.
What are the signature elements that make a Justin Alexander Signature gown?
Justin Alexander Signature redefines luxury. With its focus on opulence and drama, the collection is designed for the modern bride seeking a wedding dress that expresses her lavish and on-trend sense of style. From ornate beadwork and rich fabrics to innovative designs and impeccable craftsmanship, the Justin Alexander Signature collection is in a class of its own.
Is there a quintessential Justin Alexander Signature bride?
The Justin Alexander Signature bride is a confident, self-assured and elegant woman who is independent and a trend-setter in her peer group. She is curious, active and interesting. Her lifestyle is modern and stimulating, and she incorporates her life experiences into her wedding style.
Your new fragrance ‘Thanks and Goodluck’ is a breath of fresh air. Can you tell us about your inspiration in creating this line?
T&G , or Thanks & Goodluck, is a legacy built on love, family, and celebration. My family entered the bridal industry in 1946 when my grandparents founded T&G Veils as an accessories company. T&G is now reintroduced as a fresh scent, enveloping you in a veil of positivity. Scent instantly transports you to the extraordinary moments in your life. We want our brides to wear Thanks & Goodluck on those special days, specifically their wedding day. We want them to wear it and make lasting memories. And then wear it again when they want to be taken back.
