Around Town: Weddings + Engagements
Michelle + Adam
Michelle and Adam were married at the prestigious Brady Estate at Hamilton Farm Golf Club. Hamilton Farm is home to the largest and most lavish stable in the United States, home to the United States Equestrian Team, and is in the heart of Gladstone, New Jersey. Details of their day were inspired by the historic character of the Georgian Brady Mansion. With over five thousand acres of rolling green pastures, the picturesque location was the picture-perfect setting for their wedding.
While attending NYBFW, the bride-to-be fell in love with contemporary accessories and bridal gown of the Justin Alexander Signature collection. She then visited local boutique, White House Bride where she then said, “yes to the dress!” and accessories! Her look was finished with Jimmy Choo Romy and Loeffer Randalls for dancing. On the wedding day, upon completion of bridal glam by Alisha Nycole & Co. she stepped into her gown, Tiffany pearl earrings, and was off to her first look. The groom met her at the bottom of the staircase. He was dressed in Richard Paul Menswear, Ralph Lauren, Suit Supply, Movado watch and Charles Tyrwhitt accessories. The Georgian mansion was decorated beautifully in romantic white playa blanca roses by A Touch of Elegance Florals. All moments of their day were captured effortlessly by Philadelphia and Destination Wedding Photographer, Alex Schon Photography.
Their heartfelt garden ceremony and rose ceremony was performed by Reverend Rachel Addonizio at Love and Light Officiants. The couple was so excited to share their heartfelt wedding day with their guests and are incredibly grateful to share their love and joy for each other with their families and best friends on this day.

Michael + Kelly-Ann
Michael Barbieri and Kelly-Ann Barruffe were engaged on September 1, 2023, in Wildwood, New Jersey - Kelly's favorite childhood vacation spot. They met and fell in love at Georgian Court College, where they were both attending school. After three and a half years of dating, Michael decided that a spontaneous trip to Kelly’s favorite place would be the perfect way to propose. Walking through the sand, that Kelly remembers as “soft as clouds,” Michael seized the opportunity to get down on one knee when Kelly asked him to help roll up her pant legs.
Knelt on the beach, during a beautiful sunset, Michael asked Kelly to marry him, with a photographer standing by to capture the magical moment. They are currently planning their wedding together and are looking forward to a beautiful fall ceremony, in their home state of New Jersey, during September of 2024.
Current + CP
It was a magical 3-day celebration for Current Avery D’Ignazio and Christopher Peter Rahe, in Current, Eleuthera (Current’s namesake) which has always been a very special place for her and her family and the obvious destination for where the two would be married.
The couples Rehearsal Dinner was held at the iconic Dunmore Hotel. Foraged greenery centerpieces sat on orange and pink table runners Current’s mother made. The bride wore a cream colored Markarian gown adorned with rose gold tinsel, and her grandmother’s copper clip-on earrings with an acrylic clutch in the same tone so all matched. On Friday, Current and CP welcomed guests to The Runaway Hill Inn for a cocktail hour and beach bonfire party with a local DJ and pizza. Current first wore a two-piece floral number from Emilia Wickstead, and then later in the evening opted for a playful lace look – bralette and short set by Houghton paired with an Alessandra Rich button down.
For the big day, the couple’s ceremony took place on the beach at Coral Sands – barefoot! The bride went with a non-traditional wedding dress and worked with Lee Petra Grebenau on a custom design. The ceremony and reception were inspired by the pastel town of Dunmore – vintage rattan, pink conch shells and 1970s glamour. Cocktail hour was held on the pool deck at Coral Sands Hotel. Local fashion illustrator, Wayne Head, sketched the guest’s stylish looks, while enjoying a cigar bar and tequila sampling.
Dinner took place at the Beach Bar. Menus, name cards, and table cards were designed by Laura Lines Calligraphy and the beautiful white and pink florals were designed by Boy Meets Girl. For an element of surprise & delight Current and CP arranged a Junkanoo rush towards the end of the evening– think an incredibly beautiful an elaborate parade with music, dance, and costumes. The after party continued at Gustys, and the bride changed into a custom floral sequined Markarian minidress and silver Acquazurra heeled sandals. Briland DJ, Jamal Johnson, spun an epic playlist and the infamous Gus (of Gusty’s) sent out burgers to all the guests. It was a night to remember. Photographer and long-term friend Charles Roussel was there to capture all the magic!
Tamsen + Ira
Tamsen + Ira are now celebrating their two-year wedding anniversary. Surrounded by close family and friends that October night, they exchanged vows at the top of Rockefeller Center 620 Loft & Gardens. They wanted it to be a New York City party. There was a fun illustration activation, so guests could take home memories of their night. NYC staple, Dylan's Candy, provided a candy cart to treat their guests to sweets. Broadway royalty Orfeh and Andy sang their wedding song and their wedding planner, Chere Rosalie, tied it all together beautifully.
Reflecting back on their special day, Tamsen shares “...it makes me realize how precious every day is and I can't wait for so many more.”
