Can you briefly tell us a little about your company/ job?
I have the wonderful privilege of supporting women and men through all the seasons of their lives. Teens come to me for acupuncture to balance skin issues and reduce anxiety, women come to me to have support in getting pregnant, feeling good during their pregnancy and in healing postpartum. Women (and some men!) come to me for facial rejuvenation acupuncture and other natural face lifting and sculpting techniques. Women and men who are feeling low energy or having digestive issues come to me and report back not only feeling more energized but also feeling more attractive, having a higher libido and finding more joy in their creative, professional and personal lives.
What's the most rewarding aspect of what you do?
Transforming people’s lives. One of my clients had 3 c-sections, and then had pain during her bowel movements for 20 years. After 6 acupuncture and abdominal therapy sessions, her pain is gone. I feel honored to have made such a dramatic change in her life. One of my teen clients was suffering through extreme anxiety and depression her last year of high school. After a series of treatments, her emotions and her focus were more stabilized and she got into her dream college. Helping people heal, find joy and love brings me peace.
What would you say is the secret to your success?
I continually strive to learn more to give more. Focusing on the people and community that I serve. What is helpful for me over the years as a business owner, where like any relationship there are ups and downs, is reconnecting to my “why.” Why did I decide to go into acupuncture and the healing arts? The answer is always the same - to guide people towards a path of healing and wellness.
I also love to see people glowing and shining after their sessions with me. My holistic approach to Facial Acupuncture in particular gives my client’s so much confidence to age joyfully, put themselves first in life and business, and even get out and date again. Recently one of my clients, an older sister, was asked at an event if she was her younger sister’s daughter (!).
