Marissa started by shampooing, spraying in a detangler and then brushing it through with the Tangle Teezer Ultimate Detangler, which has patented two-tiered teeth that gently detangles while causing less breakage and draws the treatment through the hair.

Marissa then blow dried her hair straight, sectioned out her front bang and clipped it up, while brushing the rest of her hair into a tight ponytail using the Tangle Teezer Ultimate Styler, which has unique bottle-shaped teeth that have been designed to dry-style and effortlessly finish any look. Marissa says she loves how this brush grips the hair without creating frizz for a smooth finish.

Then she wrapped the ponytail around into a bun and secured it with bobby pins and let down the front section, curling it away from her face to frame it.

Lastly she brushed through with the Tangle Teezer Ultimate Styler, which helps finish the look and enhance shine.

INSPIRATION

"I wanted to create a soft eye with fluttery lashes to look fluffy and full, but not overwhelming. I used the Lashify system to create custom lashes that would open the eye, be flirty and fun, all while looking seamless.”

GET THE LOOK

“By using a mix of the Lashify Curl, Curl+ and Starburst Gossamer® I was able to create the most beautiful lash look. I used a stacking technique, first applying a C8 Gossamer® at the inner corner and continuing with C10+'s. When the bond dried on the first layer, I added SB10 lashes over the C8 and C10+'s for a fluffy look with little peaked clusters.”
