Dori, a proud Philadelphian originally from New England, has a heartwarming journey that intertwines art with family and philanthropy. After a successful career in commercial litigation, Dori made a conscious choice to step away from the legal world to focus on raising her three children. It was their blossoming interest in art that reignited her passion for creativity, leading to the founding of the Gallery of Good® in 2018.

“Anything I was doing also had to provide me with an opportunity to set a positive example for them (and hopefully help others at the same time), which is why everything in the Gallery of Good® has a portion of the sale proceeds dedicated to charity.  Finally, it had to feel as much fun as it did when I was a child. I’m happy to report that not only are all the boxes checked off, but it’s more fun than I could have ever imagined.”

Dori’s latest project is in support of those effected by the devestating wildfires throughout Los Angeles…

Dori's work celebrates the sanctity of childhood, the joy of friendship, and the beauty of play. Each piece is a reflection of her values as a parent, thoughtfully crafted to inspire positivity and social responsibility. A portion of the proceeds from every sale goes to charity, supporting various causes that uplift children and families in need. Dori’s whimsical artwork not only brings happiness into homes but also fosters a sense of community, as she proudly partners with local businesses to produce her pieces.

“My artwork is literally a projection of me as a parent. Every piece has a story behind it-a special meaning-and was made under circumstances to which just about anyone could relate. As an example, the dresses that I create in ‘Les Robes’ all have a name, taken from someone that I know. However, as a mother raising two girls and a little boy, I’m also trying to instill certain values within them, which is why each dress also has a positive characteristic associated with it.”

From collaborations with the Four Seasons Hotel to fundraising initiatives benefiting organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters, Dori's commitment to making a difference shines through in all her endeavors.
