Originally designed by world-renowned modernist architect Eero Saarinen with the explicit purpose of inspiring connectivity, Bell Labs is revered for its role in spurring the development of some of the world’s monumental technological innovations and research concepts. In its 40+ year history as the research headquarters for Bell Laboratories, Lucent, and Alcatel-Lucent, the building housed a total of seven Nobel Prize winners, including those who conceived theories for the laser, the Big Bang theory, cellular technology, the transistor, and more.Bell Works is the reimagination of the iconic 2 million-square-foot historical landmark, designed as a workplace of the future while tapping into the essence of Bell Labs—connectivity sparked by spontaneous and serendipitous interaction. The building has been reborn as a lively Metroburb, a one-of-a-kind destination for business and culture, complete with a blossoming ecosystem of technology, traditional offices, retail, dining, arts, culture, and much more.Bell Works prides itself on its close-knit community where daily workers, first-time visitors, and community members experience the Metroburb as a place for everyone to work, shop, eat, play, learn, care, move inspired. Bell Works’ signature glass-encased facade and timeless open-atrium scheme—which spans a quarter mile and has been reimagined into a publicly accessible destination for shops, restaurants, healthcare, community services, and more—has helped it earn its reputation as New Jersey’s most iconic building. The building has become a destination for arts and culture for the area. Local and international artists have featured their work in galleries, events, and pop-up experiences at Bell Works. Artists who have chosen Bell Works as their canvas include Sarah Meyohas, Emilio Chapela, and Daniel Arsham, to name a few. Various fashion brands and film studios have used the Metroburb as the backdrop for their shoots. Most recently, Bell Works was the film location for AppleTV’s groundbreaking series, “Severance.”Bell Works’ tenants and visitors alike can take advantage of the convenient retail options along the pedestrian street known as “The Block” at Bell Works, including the weekly farmers’ market, a growing selection of locally owned restaurants, or the newly renovated open-air roof deck at Bar Bella—a contemporary bar offering an ever-changing selection of local beer, seasonal wines, and “Instagrammable” cocktails. A bustling hub for events and public activations, the Metroburb serves as an ongoing catalyst for community building and meaningful interaction.Designed with environmental touches and a focus on biophilic design, fiddle figs and tropical plants can be found throughout Bell Works to support healthy air quality and holistic wellness. Paying homage to its roots, the Bell Works team strives to bring the outside in. The space offers naturally flowing, open spaces, including exposed, “inside-out” hallways that are meant to foster collaboration and interaction. Bell Works is also home to a variety of different office concepts, from customized, longterm private offices to pre-furnished, “readyto-wear” suites and coLab—Bell Works’ coworking membership experience. Also on the premises is Campus—72,000-square-foot flexible office space catering to the growing number of medium-sized businesses and large enterprises in search of flexibly termed leasing solutions as their teams return to the office. Workspaces at Campus are fully furnished and wired and offer businesses the ability to lease both small and large footprints depending on the needs of their teams.Situated along Crawfords Corner Road, Bell Works is approximately one mile from Exit 114 off the Garden State Parkway. Its central New Jersey location provides easy access to points north and south.Website: Bell.Works Facebook: Facebook/BellWorks Instagram: BellWorks Twitter: Bell_Works LinkedIn: Linkedin.com/company/bellworks/
